She came to me With questions That I, myself Couldn't explain Walking off the earth To the moon We search for answers Together But we both fear What lies ahead In which we have No clue to what it is We walk and walk And yet still Have a long way to go Along the way we try To find the answers We both seek We come to a place That leads us astray The people there Haunting our dreams Taunting us when we are awake We are trying so hard To see why we are this way We are different In so many ways We don't begin to compare She likes this I like that We just don't get it Why are we the ones chosen We ask ourselves why |
Why is this happening But then something Something else happens On our way to seek answers I lost her Now I'm all alone And I'm scared How could I lose her The one who cared When I was around her I felt safe They took her from me Knowing I was weak Without her She was my one My one true friend And now I feel as if I...me I abandoned her She was the only one Who got me The only one who Who got me The only one who Actually knew ME Wait a minute Is this true Yes, yes it is I found her And it's not you It's me I will no longer Be true to you Or your dreams But to me! |
