Learning Enviornment

Enhanced by an environment of discipline, respect and service, many factors combine to make Notre Dame the powerful experience that it is. These include:
•A relatively small size (fewer than 400 students) -- This means you are a very special person known and supported by our faculty, counselors and administrative staff.

• A single gender environment - Study after study indicates that the single gender environment, especially for women, increases performance, confidence and leadership skills. We’re a living testimonial!

• A seasoned, committed staff - When asked, "What is the best thing about Notre Dame?" our students will invariably respond: "The teachers!!" Our positive environment and mission attracts extremely dedicated professionals who love to teach, and love to learn.

•A rich, multi-ethnic culture - We not only have a wonderfully diverse student population; we celebrate it! From our Unity Committee of students, parents and staff to the popular annual International Fest, we are committed to fostering global understanding. As a graduate, you are well-equipped to be a global citizen, with deepened pride in yourself and a healthy respect for others.

• A commitment to service - We have taken Mother Teresa's words to heart: "We cannot all do great things; we can do all things with great love." Our students give freely of their time and talents, passing along their care and compassion to family, school and community.

Our full-staffed Learning Resource Center is open all day to help students who are having difficulty with
their course work. We also offer peer tutoring and the Sylvan Learning Program to eligible students.
