EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY OF NOTRE DAME HIGH SCHOOL FOR GIRLS

Notre Dame High School is a Catholic school for young women which values teaching as an extension of Jesus work in today's
world. In keeping with the spirit of St. Julie Billiart, the Foundress of the Sisters of Nothat education is a ministry emanating
from our faith in a loving God who cares for all. The school's educational program is designed to promote intellectual inquiry
infused with the spirit of the Gospel. We are committed to developing an educational program which challenges all members
to both academic and personal excellence. We expect members of the school community to grow in their sense of self-worth
and in their ability to contribute to both society and the Church.

We welcome young women from a variety of cultural, religious, and academic backgrounds. We respect each individual,
student, and staff member alike, as a unique person comprised of body, mind, heart, spirit, and with a need for satisfying relationships. We encourage understanding of and appreciation for each person's heritage.

By becoming a member of the Notre Dame school community, each person enters a supportive environment which promotes
the active involvement and shared responsibility essential to the intellectual, spiritual, and social growth of all community
members.
