Welcome to Edline!

We are proud to announce that NDHS has begun using Edline, an online tool that serves as a companion to our NDHS Web site. Edline allows teachers to post important information about their classes and also post student progress reports online. During the 2007-08 school year, teachers are required to post course expectations, their Email address, and student progress reports. Some teachers will also post important due dates, handouts, study guides and other course materials. In addition, club meeting dates,
dates of sporting events, and other important general school information will be posted on Edline to serve as a supplement to your school calendar. We hope that you will enjoy the addition of this tool which will enhance parent-teacher communication.

Starting Sept. 17, teachers began posting progress reports to Edline, and will do so every two weeks. You will be able to view
these reports by visiting each class page, then clicking the link named “Private Reports” under the “User Contents” menu on the
left side of the page. Traditional print progress reports will still be mailed out, but these online reports offer a more frequent and detailed update of your daughter's academic progress.

Edline materials were sent home with your daughter in early September, including a user guide and activation codes. You and your daughter each have your own unique activation code; once you activate your account, you will be able to choose a user name and password to use each time you log in to Edline. If you have not received information from your daughter, additional copies of the
user guide (in English and Spanish) are located in the main office and the NDHS library. If you need to request another copy of your activation code, you can call the main office or send an Email to Addie Sullivan, the NDHS Technology Coordinator, at asullivan@ndhs4girls.org.
